This five day programme will introduce managers and leaders to the process of change and the most effective approaches to managing it. Change can have a massive impact on staff and teams and the role of the leader is to Inform, Engage and Involve their team to reduce the stress and anxiety, whilst ensuring the change happens on time and to cost.
There has been considerable development of our understanding of what works when running a change process and how important the role of the leader is in both delivering change projects and in day to day team leadership whilst undergoing a change process. This course will focus on the organisational fit of change, how this is ensured, how the team and organisation are prepared for change, how change tasks and reorganisations are carried out and then how the new way of doing things is made routine and accepted.

Aims and Objectives:
The aim of the course is to develop the change management and leadership skills of participants to make them more effective at leading change operations, or leading teams which are engaged in a change process.
By the end of the course students will be able to:
- Distinguish between different strategies for change
- Prepare a suitable program of work for Change Management
- Specify requirements for the success of strategies and Change Management programs
- Propose appropriate methods to deal with resistance to change
