Rob Hoblin MBA MA FCMI A highly effective management professional who is innovative and creative in solving complex operational problems. Rob is a successful Operations Director who has a strong strategic focus, an excellent knowledge of Counter Terrorism at a National and International level and has worked at the highest level of armed protective security as the Divisional Commander at the UK’s Atomic Weapons Establishments near Reading in Berkshire. He has spent over 35 years working in the public sector with the last 10 years working at a senior level in policing. He has worked at cross government level with the Ministry of Defence, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Department for International Development, Home Office, NHS and the former Department for Energy and Climate Change as well as the non-departmental Stabilisation Unit. He has travelled extensively in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the USA delivering leadership and management training at senior levels with various police forces. His policing experience includes a 2 year secondment as the policing lead with the British Army’s Anti-Terrorist Training and Advisory Team, Head of Specialist Operations at force HQ, Head of Corporate Services and an operational Divisional Commander overseeing the safety and security of the UK’s national deterrent facilities and personnel. In 2005 Rob attended a year long International course at the Royal College of Defence Studies where he attained a Masters degree in International Studies, with Kings College London. He is also a qualified Executive Coach (ILM) and a practitioner in Emotional Intelligence (EQI-2.0 & EQi360) Life Member of the Royal College of Defence Studies Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute
