Course Abstract

This five day workshop is intended for leaders, managers and supervisors who are responsible for achieving success through their team, employees or associates. The workshop will consider the role of Human Resource Management in modern systems and how proper management systems creates the best situation for a leader to motivate staff; theoretical concepts of motivation and how these can be applied to operational settings and the impact of varying Leadership styles on performance and teams. The participants will develop their own action plan for change and a Charter for Motivation and delegation which they will take back to their workplace.

Aims and Objectives

Participants will develop their own approach to motivating others based upon the latest theoretical perspectives on motivation, delegation and Leadership

By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

  • Describe the skills to improve the motivation of their team
  • Motivate their team through a range of incentives, delegation and other techniques
  • Develop the skills of others to lead more effectively
  • To describe management systems which will improve the motivation of teams
  • To respond to differing motivational needs of their teams
  • To apply a range of effective techniques to improve moral and motivate their team
  • Be more effective as a leader of people
