Workplace Pressure & Stress are common and the response people have to them, their resilience to respond positively and the ability to control the impact are key elements for a successful and effective work life. This course helps participants develop the skills an capabilities to build resilience to pressure and use stress as a tool to enhance performance.
This five day course will examine the types of stress and pressures that can arise in the workplace and teach students how to deal effectively with them. When we manage our stress levels effectively it can have a very positive effect. High levels of stress, if managed well can cause us to become more motivated, energetic, confident and creative. Problems can arise, however, when our stress levels become too high, too low, or when high levels of stress occur over long periods of time. Practical sessions will take students through a range of methods in how to deal with stress.
Aims and Objectives
Students will learn how to deal with pressure and stress in the workplace and develop techniques on how to recognise and deal with it
At the end of the course the student/participant will be able to:
Understand the pressures of work and how to deal with them
Select a light pressure of the work and impact of psychological on the results of the performance.
Understand how to plan and manage time to release stress and pressure
Learn how to think differently to release pressure and stress
Overcome anger and control it.
Learn how to deal with feelings of anxiety.
Look for the positives and solutions in stressful situations
