Course Abstract
This five day course is designed for Police leaders and professionals who are looking to enhance and improve their decision making and problem solving skills in order to achieve successful outcomes and solutions in day to day business practice.
Critical thinking and the ability to create solutions to problems significantly enhance the way policing is delivered today and general business potential. Leaders and decision makers must use a variety of methodologies and creative processes in order to operate successfully in certain situations. This course will allow students to develop their skills as a problem solver and individuals will learn how to influence and control their own personal thinking preferences using tools and techniques based on latest research
Aims and Objectives
Students will learn to analyse problems, construct creative solutions, and decide which solution most closely matches with the needs..
At the end of the course the student/participant will be able to:
- To be able to accurately diagnose problems and determine the reasons and requirements to resolve them.
- Learn how to use statistical models and methods in dealing with problems.
- The use of appropriate methods to evaluate alternatives and make decisions.
- To be able to follow up the implementation of decisions and evaluate their ability to solve problems.
