Dave Lewis BA (Hons) MEd

Dave has over 30 years as a Police Inspector with the Metropolitan and Thames Valley Police services. He has operational experience in Central London, Oxford, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes. Dave was the police lead for the Westminster Youth Offending Team and a member of the Met’s Youth Team, who were awarded the London Regional Diversity award for work with the Volunteer Police Cadets.
Dave as head of training at the National Police Probationer Training Centre, Durham and a Training Design Specialist for national police training, specialising in designing and developing youth and community engagement programmes, delivered the successful ‘Streetbeatz’ programme.
Dave is a trained mediator and has been the director of ‘This Way Up Mediation’ a Community Interest Company in London. Dave led many youth justice leadership programmes for the British Council, and was a member of the British Aid team to South Africa 1995-1996.
Dave was the Coordinator of Uniform Youth Services for the Prince’s Trust Charities at Dumfries House.
Dave Holds a BA (Hons) and M.Ed. from the University of Hull and has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development for over 25 years. A Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Dave is an associate for the London Policing College, delivering courses Internationally particularly active in the UAE and in the UK.
