Gary has over 30 years’ experience, in Policing serving in the Metropolitan Police Service, Hertfordshire and Murder Investigation teams. He investigated major and serious crimes including Homicide, Terrorism, Fraud and Serious Sexual offences.
He developed expertise in Crime Scene Management and as a Specialist Trainer in investigative practice and investigative interviewing. Gary trained Detectives at the Crime Academy, Hendon, the MPS Detective Training establishment. Audiences ranged from Trainee Investigators to Senior Investigating Officers with subjects ranging from Investigative Interviewing to Crime Scene Management.
Gary was Exhibits Officer responsible for identification of British victims of the Asian Tsunami 2004 and Exhibits Officer responsible for Ante Mortem Identification procedures after the July 2005 London bombings.
Gary has designed and delivered bespoke training packages to a wide variety of delegates. Courses include Crime Scene Management, Investigation, Train the Trainer, and training design to investigators in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, China, Trinidad and Africa.
