Karen Duckworth BA (Hons)

Karen has 32 years of experience of policing in the Metropolitan Police London achieving Chief Inspector rank. Her responsibilities included front line policing, community, and public order sporting events.
Karen worked closely with Rugby Football Union (RFU) stadium (Twickenham). She performed the role of Silver match commander at RFU events and was key in planning and delivering the local response to the Olympic cycling events being held in West London.
Karen was the lead for Neighbourhood Policing and Change manager in Westminster, Karen was instrumental in building and maintaining strong relationships with Community Safety Leads and Council Leaders across three busy merging Boroughs to ensure that change was delivered effectively, crime didn’t increase, and community and Partner needs were best met.
Karen has completed her NEBOSH training, a high-level health and safety training qualification and achieved the Level 4 Spectator Safety management qualification.
Karen was awarded a BA (Hons) for Crowd Safety and Risk Management and is currently studying for an MSc Policing at UWL
