Mark has many years of experience in Metropolitan Police Service, tackling serious and organised crime. He is a detective and Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) and has worked in reactive and proactive crime management. He has led several high profile and complex investigations.
Mark worked in Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency as Head of Enforcement. Leading the UK’s response to criminal enforcement within the pharmaceutical sphere working across the UK, Europe and globally. He has also worked with Interpol, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, World Health Organisation and with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Mark is the Head of Counter Fraud for Christian Aid with responsibilities around corruption, bribery and terrorist legislation.
Mark has contributed to national policy development within the investigation of serious and organised crime. His work is widely recognised at an international level with several published articles, and he has participated in leading academic research within the area of homicide.
