Stuart has 30 years police service and served as Chief Constable. He has skills at executive level particularly within Law Enforcement and the public sector managing, leading, and resolving critical incidents of local regional and international significance.
Stuart is an expert in cyber and digital enabled crime with wide policing experience in many fields including as Chief Constable of Cumbria Police
Stuart designed, facilitated, and implemented the national response amongst the UK Voluntary and Community Sector to their operational support in the aftermath of the Grenfell Fire and Manchester Arena attack. Stuart designed Critical Incident immersive training programme for industry to respond to Cyber-attacks. Stuart has managed extensive, immersive training events for senior police officers in serious crime and counter terrorism across 7 police forces including public disorder and crisis management.
Stuart led police response to the last active shooter in the UK following 12 murders in one hour (Cumbria), he managed evacuation of the city centre of UKs second largest city. He led the response and recovery from Immigration Centre disruption and destruction (Harmondsworth).
Stuart was awarded the Queens Police Medal and a Doctorate in Technology for his engagement in public security.
