We are looking to develop a pool of associates to deliver our police education programmes in partnership with the University of West London. Opportunities will develop over the next 12 months and include our undergraduate and post graduate degree programmes and working on in force programmes. You will need
Experience in policing, a related field of work or research. Whilst many of our team have previously served as officers we are looking to build a team of people with different experiences and backgrounds
Academic police related qualification preferably at Level 7. All our team will need to achieve FHA and we will look to find ways to develop the right candidates who may not have studied at this level before.
Preferred experience in police teaching and education. Many of our team have worked with us on other programmes and we would be keen to develop this team with people with other learning and education experiences.

Working with the British Council the London Policing College are leading an international project on police education. As a result we are a vice chair on the International Forum on Police Education Cooperation. Through these networks we are connected with police educators in 40 countries and have a number of opportunities for Associates. These include
Supporting our study programmes in the UK, including the 2, 4 and 16 weeks for either recruits or senior officers from countries including China, India and Saudi Arabia.
Delivering programmes abroad. These could range form 1 to 3 weeks working with a provider in countries including: Cambodia, Thailand, China and Saudi Arabia.
On line delivery to people around the world. We are developing a series of programmes for delivery remotely and want to build the ability to mentor and coach officers and teaching teams.
We are looking to develop a research team which connects people form various countries. There are two potential programmes: (1) The impact of COVID 19 on policing (2) Police education – what works form around the world

Personal Development is provided through several channels all of which are focused on helping individuals to achieve the most they can. We are looking for individuals to support these programmes which include:
Leadership Promotion Courses. Short courses with on going support for police officers looking for promotion or selection into specialist roles. We are looking for individuals with the skills to support these and the track record to ensure success.
Coaching and mentoring. We are actively looking to develop coaching and mentoring programmes for serving officers and those studying for qualifications or selection.
Into Police Programmes. We run short courses 1 and 2 day for Volunteer Police cadets and others interested in policing careers. These are voluntary programmes and we are always looking for people to create exciting and energising activities.
